Sparrow Hawk vs. Pigeon
A sparrow hawk feasting on a pigeon in Kensington, London. The music is Days of the New, Cling.
It’s a bit shaky but I was carrying bags and getting rained on at the time, and was trying not to move. Compensated a little by the in camera anti-shake and then further by Final Cut Pro’s smooth cam (which turns a laptop into a convection heater for a half hour on HD footage).

[..YouTube..] ul find that 99% of sparrowhawks killing pigeons are female hawks, this is bcos the male hawks are smaller than the females and the males usually take sparrow/tit sized birds to about as large as a starling/blackbird. i am glad sparrowhawks are killing pigeons as i hate pigeons but atleast they are providing food for predators
